Question 1

Is Story Grove a subscription?

Accepted Answer

Not to start. Every plan is a one-time payment for a full year (Lifetime is one payment, forever). Near the end of the year you can keep the archive active for $15 a month, or let it rest: your stories stay yours and readable either way.

Question 2

Is there a free trial?

Accepted Answer

No. You pay once, and if Story Grove is not right for your family you have 30 days to ask for a full refund.

Question 3

How many people can contribute?

Accepted Answer

Unlimited, on every plan. Storytellers and readers are always free. Plans differ in the number of organizer seats (the people who curate, invite and compose books) and in the book they include.

Question 4

What is included in the book?

Accepted Answer

A 6×9 inch casewrap hardcover, black-and-white with Keepsake or full color with Heirloom and Lifetime, composed from your stories and photos and shipped to the address you choose. Printed stories that were recorded aloud carry a QR code that plays the voice.

Question 5

How much are extra copies?

Accepted Answer

Any family member can order a copy to their own address: $39 for black-and-white or $79 for color at list price, with 15% off for Heirloom and Lifetime families.

Question 6

Can I give Story Grove as a gift?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Buy it as a gift at checkout and we send a gift card by email on the date you choose, with nothing to ship.
